The role of women and goddesses in these myths and what we know from it
When we read the Greek mythology, we often can find that the women’s` role is quite different from the men’s. In mythology, man often can have a merited opportunity to have some tasks to be a hero respected by all the people. (. Hercules) compared with man, woman always has an image of a clinging vine that is sometimes selfish, jealous, even evil and weak than man. All of arts stem from our life. There is no exception. So there must be some connection between the characters of the goddesses and the moral women in Greek mythology and the real women having been lived in the city-states of ancient Greece.
We are maybe very amazed that women almost give birth to all the things, such as the heroes, the goddesses, the gods and even the earth (according the story about the mother of the earth----Gaia), but why the most villainous characters and the ones who can always bring the doom to human beings are e from women? Medusa----the woman who has the snakes as her hair and also are very bloodcurdling is a monster that can turn people into stone; Pandora----the first mortal woman in the world open the box and release the disasters out; Hera as a goddess also often punish the beautiful girls who have or have not love affairs with her husband because of jealousy.
