Brief Introduction

This book expounds the emergence and characteristics of non-stationary signals in mechanical
equipment, physical meaning of orthogonal signal position and engineering background. It
contains non-stationary signal processing methods from which the fault information is extracted:
Wigner-Ville time-frequency distribution; Short time Fourier transform: Wavelet transform; Wavelet
packet analysis; Harmonic wavelet; Laplace wavelet; Hermitian wavelet; Matching pursuits etc. and
their basic principles and applications. The illumination of signal reprocessing techniques of wavelet
transform includes the following: Wavelet packets and autoregressive spectrum analysis; Surveillance of
frequency band energy of wavelet packet position; Wavelet fractal analysis; Harmonic wavelet
orbit; ic wavelet analysis; Fuzzy cluster work based on wavelet packets and online
monitoring and work system of mechanical equipment that implement these methods and
