As is described in the picture, the two people are both working hard in order to get the key to ess. What makes them different is that one person is climbing the stairs, which means the accumulation of knowledge, while the other is jumping for the key. From the picture we can draw the conclusion that different focuses in the process lead to different results.
There are many people around us who are seeking for shortcuts to ess. Normally, they ignore the laborious(费时费力的,艰辛的) and slow process of learning, which turns out that they are unable to get the ideal result. Meanwhile, other people, holding the belief no pains, no gains, are working hard with a down-to-earth(务实的) approach, building up knowledge in the process of moving to ess and good results are surely expected.
