Foreword
The Provision is an amended version ofSHSG-033-2003: Content Requirements for Basic Engineering Design of Petrochemical Installations by China Petrochemical Engineering pany. Compared with the 2003 version, the main changes in the Provision are as follows:
1. The imperfections of the original standard found in five years of implementation are amended, and the technical contents in each chapter are supplemented, adjusted and improved, and the operability is enhanced;
2. Part of contents are modified and supplemented in accordance with new state policies and regulations. "Special Section of Security Facilities Design", "Special Section of Occupational Health", "Special Section of Energy Conservation " and " Special Section of Seismic Protection” and other document requirements are newly added, which are the focuses of this Revision.
3. Equipments are divided into three parts, namely, static equipments, industrial furnaces and moving equipments, and the civil contents are adjusted into two parts, namely, buildings and structures., Chapter: Plant Layout and Chapter: Piping are merged.
4. Modifications are made for consistency of sentences, punctuation, and expression.
After being amended, the Provision includes a total of 14 chapters and 7 appendices. Appendix A, B, C, D, E, F are respectively the design documents of "Special Section of Fire Protect
