高考英语冠词考点的命题规律
■考查基本用法
在全国每年的十几套高考英语试题中,至少有百分之六十的冠词考题涉及冠词的基本用法,或涉及基本用法的引申用法。所谓冠词的基本用法,指的就是不定冠词表不确指或泛指,定冠词表确指或特指。如:
I know you don’t like _______ music very much. But what do you think of _______ music in the film we saw yesterday? (全国III)
A. 不填; 不填            B. the; the            C. the; 不填              D. 不填; the
答案为D。第一空后的music为泛指,故不填冠词; 第二空后的music为特指,即特指the film we saw yesterday中的music,故填定冠词。
■考查特殊用法
冠词的特殊用法比较复杂,但根据近几年的命题特点来看,以下几种特殊用法值得注意:序数词前冠词的使用问题,人名词前冠词的使用问题,星期名词前冠词的使用问题,一日三餐名词前冠词的使用问题,比较级前冠词的使用问题,等等。如:
—Could you tell me the way to _______ Johnsons, please?
—Sorry, we don’t have _______ Johnson here in the village. (全国II)
A. the; the                 B. the; a              C. 不填; the          D. the; 不填
答案为B。第一空填定冠词,the Johnsons指约翰逊一家人;第二空填不定冠词,a Johnson指“一个叫约翰逊的人”,其中的a表非确指。
e couldn’t remember when he first met Mr. Anderson, but he was sure it was _______ Sunday because everybody was at _______ church. (重庆卷)
A. 不填; the            B. the; 不填            C. a; 不填            D. 不填; a
答案为C。第一空填不定冠词,表泛指,指某一个不确定的星期天;第二空不填冠词,at church为****语,其中不用冠词。
■考查搭配用法
英语的固定搭配和****惯搭配非常丰富,其中有的要用冠词,有的不用冠词,这需要同学们在平时的学****中注意积累。如:
If you go by _______ train, you can have quite fortable journey, but make sure you get _______ fast one. (全国卷III)
A. the, the                 B. 不填, a                 C. the, a             D. 不填, 不填
答案为B。根据英语的搭配****惯,by train / by bus这类表达中不用冠词,可排除A和C;表示“一辆快车”用a fast one,其中one是代词,代替train。

陷阱】几个干扰均有可能误选。
