If 从句, 主句
did/were would/might/should+do
had done would,etc+ have done
should do/were to do/did would + do
1. 当助动词为had、were或should时,从句中的if可以省略,这时用倒装结构:
eg: Had you been there, you would have met him.
2. if从句还可由without, but for介词短语替换
eg: Without air, there would be no wind or rain.
But for the heavy traffic, we should have arrived earlier.

在表示建议,命令,请求等意义的动词、名词、形容词后跟的宾语从句、同位语从句或表语从句、主语从句中((should) do)
advice, important, strange, desire, natural, proper, move, command, order, suggest, propose, mend, request, require, demand, order, decree, insist imperative, necessary, essential等
wish宾语从句中(现在“过去时”,过去“过去完成”,将来“过去将来”)
As if 从句
eg: The little girl looks as if she was going to cry.
He treats as if I were his own daughter.

It’s about/high time + that 从句(过去时)
Would rather /would sooner(倒希望)后面的从句中(常用过去时态)
Eg: I would rather pleted the work now.
Would rather 用法
情态动词:would rather do (than do sth else)宁愿
独立句中表愿望(原形)
