Abstract Objective To study the personality trait and mental health status of excellent graduates in Medical College. Meth-

Guangzhou TCM University Were tested by the Cattell s 16 Personality Factors Guestionnaire( 16PF) and SCL-90. esults
DThe 16PF Test of the excellent graduate indicated five advantages and tWo disadvantages of the personality traits. i. e. the
advantages of excitement courage suspicion intelligence and ambition( P<0. 05) as Well as the dsadvantage of independence
