In this paper, definitions and reaction mechanisms of the two polyureas are introduced, together with their characteristics, application scopes and examples in hydraulic engineering project. The brush polyurea is proposed to be suitable to the waterproofing of upstream surface, expansion joints and crack defects of concrete structures, as well as the surface protections to against hazardous erosion and water flushing abrasion with its flow velocity being less than thirty meters per second.
