mands
Lets try to do something
General Note:
Firstly most of mands run on any operating system (UNIX, Solaris, windows).And to test mands
the TCP/IP protocol must be installed on the system(Generally it is already installed).
And some services must be started, to do that(assuming that you are using windows2000 or XP) from control paneladministrative toolsservices you can start/stop any services from there manually or automatically.
ARP
Display or manipulate the ARP information on work device puter.
Short for Address Resolution Protocol, ARP is a protocol used with the IP protocol for mapping a 32-bit Protocol address to a MAC address that is recognized in the work

Ipconfig
Ipconfig is a MS-DOS utility that can be used from MS-DOS and a MS-DOS shell to display work settings currently assigned and given by work.
mand can be utilized to verify work connection as well as to verify work settings.
Windows 2000 users should use mand to work information.
Examples:
>ipconfig ... Show information.
> ipconfig /all ... Show detailed information
> ipconfig /renew ... renew all adapters
> ipconfig /renew EL* ... renew any connection that has its name starting with EL
Ping
Ping is one of the monly used and mands. Ping allows a user to ping work IP address.
This can help determine if work is able municate with work.
Simply shows if the remote machine is available or not....
Example:
C:\>ping
Pinging [] with 3
