【内容提要】格物知性与由性生知是王夫之心性论的重要命题,这两个命题的关联表明了他的心性论与知识论互相作用的方式。首先,他规定了心、性、情诸概念的内涵,区分了心为主宰与性为主宰这两种说法的意义,主张以性做主去规范心的活动。其次,把格物作为知性的途径,强调知识活动对于价值活动的基础作用。最后,认为性是人的全部性质、全部获得的浓缩,从性中紬绎出、伸展出的知识活动才不会逸出价值理想的制约。格物知性和由性生知也是王夫之对王门后学的流弊提出的救治之方。

【英文摘要】The relationship between"knowing nature through investigation of things"and"nature producing knowledge"indicates the interaction way about mind-nature and knowledge in thought of Wang ,he distinguishes the significance of two parlances that mind is dictating and nature is dictating,protests of making nature as a host to normalize the action of ,he emphasizes the foundational action of ,he considers that nature is concentrated of human's all acquisition;the action that extends from nature just would not be out of bound of is also the prescription that controls the disease of Wang Yangming's disciples.
