Determination of irbesartan content in Irbesartan Capsule by HPLC JIANG Liang(Department of Pharmacy,Chang-

【Abstrct】 Objective To establish a HPLC method for the determination of irbesartan content in Irbesartan Capsules.
Methods The irbesartan content was determined by the HPLC method,using the Dianmonsil C18 column,acetonitrile- mol·l-1
potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution (adjusted to pH with phosphoric acid)(45:55) as the mobile phase. The detection
wavelength was 245 nm. The flow rate was ml·min-1. Results The linear range of irbesartan was - μg·ml-1,the
correlation coefficient r was 9. The average recovery was % with RSD %. Conclusion The method is simple,
rapid and accurate with good repeatability,which can be used for controlling the content of irbesartan in Irbesartan Capsules .
