Preface
This book is a collection of papers dedicated to Professor Dr. Krzysztof
Wilma´nski on the occasion of his 70th birthday. The book contains 25 contri-
butions of his friends and colleagues. He met the invited authors at different
stages of his scientific career of almost 50 years so that the contributions cover
a wide range of fields stemming from continuum mechanics. This happened
at numerous universities and research institutes where he both taught and
did his excellent research work, .
