摘要
新疆维吾尔族自治区是多民族聚集地区,近年来,随着新疆地区的经济、文化、教育、政治的快速发展,各民族之间的交流也日趋频繁。墨玉县东与和田县隔河相望,西临戈壁与皮山接壤,南抵喀喇昆仑山北麓,北入塔克拉玛干大沙漠与阿瓦提县相邻,其中更是混合着汉族、维吾尔族、回族、哈萨克族等众多民族。因此,加强墨玉县的双语教育,培养多功能复合型人才已是迫在眉睫。
近年来,在地委、行署和自治区教育厅的领导下,墨玉县的教育教学工作稳步发展。在 1997 年实施双语教学实验的基础上,按照自治区和地区的统一部署,于 2004 年正式启动了双语教学。从中小学开始实施维汉双语教学,并逐渐推广到学前两年开始,这一举措走在新疆各地区的前列,墨玉县双语教育呈现出健康、持续、快速发展的喜人状态。但是,在发展的同时,墨玉县的双语教育也暴露除了众多问题,这些问题给墨玉县的双语教育发展造成了严重阻碍。
