关于国际关系专业(IR)的介绍
概念:
国际关系是政治学的一个分支,研究国际社会之间的外交事务和关系,如国家、政府国际组织、非政府国际组织、跨国公司等。国际关系是指人们超越国家界限建立起来的一种特殊社会关系,它主要包括政治、经济、军事、社会等等关系. 国际关系既是学术的领域,也是公共政策的领域。
国际关系学专业研究冲突与和平,贫困和财富,自由和压迫等全球化问题的起因,后果,解决方案以及各个国家,国际组织之间在经济,政治,军事,文化上的交流。
作为政治学科的一部分,国际关系也与哲学,经济,历史,法律,地理,人类学,心理学,文化研究紧密联系。从全球化到领土争端,核危机,民族主义,经济发展,恐怖主义,人权等,都是国际关系研究的议题。

International relations (IR) (occasionally referred to as international studies (IS)) is the study of relationships between countries, including the roles of states, inter-anizations (IGOs), international non-anizations (INGOs), non-anizations (NGOs) and multinational corporations (MNCs). It is both an academic and public policy field, and can be either positive or normative as it both seeks to analyze as well as formulate the foreign policy of particular states. It is often considered a branch of political science. but an important sector of academia prefer to treat it as an interdisciplinary field of study.
Apart from political science, IR draws upon such diverse fields as economics, history, international law, philosophy, geography, social work, sociology, anthropology, psychology, women‘s studies/gender studies, and cultural studies / culturology. It involves a diverse range of issues including but not limited to: globalization, ecological sustainability, nuclear proliferation, nationaliglobal finance, terrorism, organized crime, human security, foreign interventionism and human rights,etc.
History of Development
The history of international relations traced back to the Peace of Westphalia of 1648, where the modern state system was developed. Westphalia instituted the concept of sovereignty.
Westphalia encouraged the rise of independent nation state and was then exported to America, Asia, and Africa via colonialism. The contemporary international system was finally established through decolonization during the Cold War.
