The Beatles were an English rock band, formed in Liverpool in 1960 andone of the mercially essful and critically acclaimed acts in the history of popular music. From 1962 the group consisted of John Lennon (rhythm guitar, vocals), Paul McCartney (bass guitar, vocals), e Harrison (lead guitar, vocals) and Ringo Starr (drums, vocals). 。

John Winston Ono Lennon, was born October 9th 1940 in Liverpool was killed December 8th, 1980 in New parents seperated when he was four years old. After that he moved in with his aunt Mimi. His father was mercial seaman, and his mother died when he was 18. In college years, John met his first wife, Cynthia Powell, with whom he had his son Julian. John divorced Cynthia in 1966, to marry Yoko Ono. Yoko gave birth to John's second son, Sean in and Yoko seperated for 14 month from 1972-73. The couple eventually re-united, until John's death in 1980. John started a band called "Quarry Man" when he was 16. Paul McCartney and e Harrison joined soon after. The band was later renamed into "the Beatles".The first significant work of the Beatles was called "Love Me Do". After that the band release a series of top-of-the-chart songs, the first one being "Please Please Me".The Beatles broke up in 1970, when Paul McCartney announced he is breaking away from the Beatles.
