International tourism has e the biggest industry in the world. Some people think it cause tension between people from different culture. Others thing it leads to understanding between countries. To what extend do you agree or disagree?
International tourism has been consolidating its status as the foremost export industry in the world. A recent study conducted by the World anization reveals that international tourism accounted for approximately 11 percent of the world export of goods and services. Yet when es to whether this burgeoning industry is a blessing or a curse in terms of international relations, people hold divergent views. Some people argue that it promotes understanding between countries while others contend that it only breed discord. Personally, I think both their views have merit.
Granted, international tourism makes munication between the tourists and munities. In the first place, it affords tourists opportunities to experience a foreign culture firsthand. Touring another country is a multi-sensory experience (tourists can see, hear, touch or even smell the exotic things at the destination spots) and it is much more interactive than just peering through a TV or PC screen at another culture.
