ABSTRACT
In the next decade, among with new data applications driven people put forward higher demands for the performance of munication systems. The main design goals behind LTE system which based on OFDMA are higher user bit rates, lower delays, reduced cost, and operational , radio resource scheduling algorithm plays a vital role in the process of evolution.
In this thesis, we focus on the radio resource scheduling, mainly focusing the resource management in LTE system as well as the development and evaluation indicators of scheduling algorithm. Were analyzed on several classic scheduling algorithms, pare their performance characteristics and limitations. Besides there is in depth discussion of the traditional scheduling algorithm based VoIP services, including full dynamic scheduling and semi-persistent scheduling. In response to the defects of the traditional VoIP scheduling algorithm is a waste of system resources, we respectively proposed an occupying dynamic scheduling algorithm and fulling dynamic scheduling algorithm, this is the innovative part of the entire the occupying dynamic scheduling algorithm is more fully utilize the system resources and improve system performance, the fulling dynamic scheduling algorithm uses the way of filling the two types of users to the same resource block scheduling and then greatly improved resource utilization and system performance. In order to verify the feasibility and correctness of the algorithm, we simulated the two algorithms by MATLAB simulation platform. It is shown that, load VoIP/FTP/Video business case, mentioned dynamic scheduling algorithm effectively improve the utilization and throughput of the system spectrum to reach the desired goal.
