FYI as our phone. The gasket maybe accepted after fire test with satisfactory result. There is no other way to know if the requirements are fulfilled.
In cases where the gaskets are not purely constructed of material with melting point above 925 degree, the only way to determine the fire resisting properties of the gaskets are to perform a fire test.
IACS UR gives guidance on how to fire test mechanical joints. Please see the page 32.
