ABSTRACT
The design of ER ZHONG GROUP Office Building is presented in this paper, and it conscientionsly carries out the principles of design, that is, “security, fitting and economic”. In this design, we can further grasp the whole process of structural design, the basic methodology and key step.
According to the design requirements, the structural design of RC framework, emphasized in this paper, mainly including : 1) Model of structure and members. Determine the size of members, such as beams, columns and panels etc; 2) Internal forces calculations. Analyze the internal forces of structure under invariable load, live load and wind load in the function of the horizontal earthquakes; 3) Internal forces aggregation. Obtain the unfavorable internal forces; 4) Section design. For the beams and columns to be done in terms of the concept and seismic design, take “strong column-weak beam”, for example; 5) Independence foundation design and stair design.
In addition, specialized software are extremely helpful to this design, such as PK, SATWE.
This design applies the newest codes. I try my best to conform these codes. Meanwhile, through which, we can obtain a deeper understanding concerning professional knowledge, and hence the analysis capacity and solving the practical problems are also improved.
