ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integrator puter)
The project began in 1943 and pleted in 1946.
The machine was huge; it used 18,000 vacuum tubes, about 1800 square feet of floor space, weighed 30 tons and consumed about 180,000 watts of electrical power.
EDVAC

EDVAC program proposed explicitly that a new machine consists of five parts, including calculator, controller, memory, input and output devices, and described the functions and mutual relations of the five parts.
