Requirements
Students enrolled for full credit will be expected to two quizes, to participate in class meetings and to take the final-term examination
All enrolled students are expected to attend and participate in every class meeting, having read assigned readings for that meeting.
Grades are assigned according to the following distribution:
quizes (2): 20%
Final examination:             70%
Class participation and performance:  10%

Course aims
To understand the importance of lexis or words in English learning;
To acquire a systematic knowledge of English vocabulary
To learn the basic concepts and fundamental theories in lexicology;
To work out vocabulary learning strategies;
To enable students to practice lexical knowledge in their language use.
