/《洛阳伽蓝记》是其作者杨街之以高超的艺术手法集地理、城建、历史、传说■风俗、逸事等众多材料熔为一炉的艺术佳构,宏丽和谐,在北朝文坛上堪称扛鼎之作,显示出很高的文学、历史、学术、审美价值。但迄今为止,学界对其研究仍未引起足够的重视,大抵处于传统的注疏阶段,尚需对其应有的价值进行必要的挖掘与可能的阐释,对其研究中的许多空白予以可能的填补,以及对存在的问题予以必要的解决,这些需要我们做大量艰苦细致的工作力本文运

学特质及其在北朝文学进程中的作用与地位。《伽蓝》不只是史学、古地理学, 重要的还是文学。就文学性而言,其主要成就不是在散文方面,而是在小说文学方面,其中记载的各种故事上百则,每个故事都有相当的认识意义和艺术成就,因此研究《伽蓝》在我国小说文学发展史上的地位,无疑成为重点中之重点。通过专向分析其包含的志怪、志人小说及两者的结合、笔记小说、传奇小说等诸多小说类别及其沿革,并做有理有据的归纳阐述,充分肯定了《伽蓝》在中国小说史中起到了过渡性作用。同时通过对《伽蓝》的景物描写、人物刻
画、事件记述的个案分析及对其写作结构、语言特色及审美倾向的研究,充分挖掘《伽蓝》的文学特性,并做出了具体而又可信的论述。另外还对《伽蓝》文本中反映出的南北、东西文化交流与冲突以及当时的社会生活状况做出一番探析的工夫,这些资料可填补中古时期有关书籍之阙疑。
