摘 要
尤金·奈达的功能对等理论作为最为广泛接受并影响深渊的翻译理论对中国文学翻译界影响巨大。他的功能对等理论重点强调―接受者的反应‖, 认为翻译的标准或评价一篇译作翻译的好坏标准应在于将译文读者的理解与原文读者的理解进行比较。最贴切自然饿对等翻译,就是译文读者对译文的反应要与原文读者对译文的反应相同。老舍作为二十世纪中国现代文学的杰出代表,幽默的讽刺、生动的描写和浓郁的地方色彩使他的作品脍炙人口,《骆驼祥子》就是杰出的代表作, 其中包含有大量的文化负载词。
本论文以尤金·奈达的功能对等理论为基础具体分析《骆驼祥子》中文化负载词和北京方言的英译。本文分共为四章,通过具体实例的分析,总结施晓菁在翻译过程中所采取的方法和翻译策略。希望籍此在老舍先生的作品译作的研究领域尽一份薄力,并为翻译
