摘要
在信息社会的今天,计算机和电子类产品的广泛普及对信息处理的要求越来越高,高效的信息处理体现为高速、稳定和及时的数据传输。IEEE 1394 总线协议是一种具有高的传输速率、良好的可扩展性、高带宽的能力、即插即用等特点的数据传输标准。IEEE l394 总线可以实现点和点之间的数据传输,已经被广泛应用在音频和视频方向,特别在高速设备接口领域倍受人们的青睐。同时,IEEE l394 总线在测试仪器和网络互连方面的应用也受到越来越多的关注。
从 IEEE 1394 总线协议的定制到现在已经有 20 多年的发展,如今也已被各个领域广泛应用。国内对其应用设计方向的研究比较成熟,但对其核心芯片的研制才刚刚起步,还需要长时间的探索。本设计的任务是基于 IEEE 1394a 协议,设计并验证一款独立的链路层芯片,并且具有很强的兼容性,可以和其他芯片连接或嵌入到其它处理器中。
本文基于 IEEE 1394a 串行总线协议,简单介绍了其技术优势和体系结构,主要阐述了链路层的组成及功能,重点进行了链路层芯片的行为设计,并以物理层/ 链路层接口为视角的对链路层进行了功能验证。以 IEEE 1394a 协议为出发点,拟出功能规范,进而给出链路层芯片的系统架构;重点是进行逻辑设计,然后对相应设计进行功能及时序仿真;仿真实现对各类型数据包的发送和接收功能。获得的时序仿真波形完全符合链路层模型标准规定,说明了本文链路层芯片设计的可行性,为 1394 相关芯片的研制做出贡献,其本身也有很大的使用价值。

Abstract
In today's information society, with the wide application puters and electronic products, the highly efficient information processing characterized by high-speed, stable and timely data transmission has e increasingly demanding. IEEE 1394 bus protocol is a data transmission standard, it has the advantages of high transmission rate, good scalability, high bandwidth capabilities, plug and play, and so on. IEEE l394 bus can achieve data transmission between the point and the point, which has been widely used in audio and video direction, especially in the field of high-speed device interface. Meanwhile, the use of IEEE l394 bus in test equipments and works has also been more and more attention.
Since its customization, IEEE 1394 bus protocol has developed for 20 years and now has also been widely used in various fields. The study of its application design in our country is relatively mature, but the research of core chip just starts and a long time exploration is needed. Here, the main work is to design and verify a separate link layer chip with a patibility, and can be connected to other embedded processors and other chips.
