ABSTRACT
This thesis is about the research ofusing GPRS in Monitoring System ofDistribution work mainly develops GPRS wireless terminal used in Monitoring System of Distribution thesis describes the design and debugging of the hardware and software system PPP protocol and TCP/IP protocol are essfully applied to GPRS wireless terminal.
Firstly,the thesis introduces the background,purpose,significances of Monitoring System of Distribution Transformer and points out that it iS the difficulty municate to many remote Distribution Transformers
in spread areaes,then the thesis analyses kinds works used in Distribution Autumation System and finds out that GPRS technology can solve the difficultiy municate to many remote Distribution Transforiners.
Secondly'the thesis studies the whole structure of work end logical structure of work,and analyses GPRS’S transmission the basis of it,the thesis proves feasibiiity of using GPRS in Monitoring System of Distribution Autumation System,and brings out a scheme using GPRS in Monitoring System of Distribution the design scheme,the essential technologies about GPRS wireless terminal are provided.
Thirdly,the thesis carefully descdbes the design and debugging ofhardware and soRware modules about GPRS wireless design of hardware includes microprocessor system module,GPRS
communication module,munication module and switch power supply design of software mainly involves PPP protocol module and munication source code is written entirely in C language,SO it Can be easily transplanted.
In the end,the thesis concludes the main work ofthis design,and raises some research topics after it.
