ABSTRACT
Since the munication has been well developed,now this development is going on,if not even the same time,as the biggest mobile system nowly in our country,the optimization of
the GSM system es more and more are some reasons
as follow:
(1)Although the technology of the mobile munication is developing rapidly,and the standards of 3G(the third generation)mobile
munication is perfecting,the GSM system will keep alive for a long
there are about 190 operator in about 100 countries who are dealing the GSM systems and serving the purpose of protecting investment and interest of merchant,the GSM systems will keep on existing and to guarantee their service quality,the GSM
systems need to be optimized.
(2)By the optimization of the GSM could mine the potential,exert the advantage of the systems,provide better service,sati sfy users’need,make more profit for merchant.
(3)Even enter the age of third generation,the GSM systems would
coexist with the CDMA systems for long time because of production of the double—mode phone,which make the switch between the GSM and CDMA systems ,we should maintain good service of the GSM systems by optimization,and provide better coverage and function along
with the CDMA systems.
In thi s paper we proposed an optimization which is based on the guard channel policy to improve the performance of the GSM present there are such policies to handle the handover call:non—prioI’ity policy,
