ABSTRACT
Shanghai power construction Co. Ltd (SPC) is the backbone enterprise of power construction industry. From 1953 up till now,it has made excellent contribution to the development of national power construction causes and meanwhile itself has gamed continuous development. Now SPC has been a group of construction enterprise that has two level of corporation and total assets of billions. However, along with the relative shrink content of power construction market, gradual cancellation of industrial protection and problems existing in the strategy and business management, SPC is now facing imheardof difficulties.
By the analysis of petition and development trends of power construction using Porter's five factor pd other analytic methods, I believe that although petition in power construction industrial es more and more severe, it is certainty that it will get more chance of development And SPC, as the backbone enterprise of power construction industrial,沿so can capture chance of survivorship and development. Meanwhile, I have gained the conclusion that pany is not only facing good opportunities of development but also facing serious business risk and survivorship crisis by systematic analysis of business condition, marketing capacity, financing, manpower resources cpid anization of SPC and by illustration of obviously cpn^petitive advantage in engineering project management and technique panagement and problems in strategy management, business tnanagement, organization structures and operation mechanisms.
On the basis of above analysis, I propose that SPC should cjioose the general strategy of expansion type _ multi-angular operating. And I project a series of operating strategy scheme such pany anization, core petition, multi-operation and capital operating, and propose corresponding strategy iipplempntation and control m
