基于MATLAB的车牌图像定位算法研究
摘要
随着社会的飞速发展,汽车的使用逐渐普及,车牌号是车辆身份的重要指标,所以,车牌识别技术需要得到进一步的完善,以满足交通智能管理的要求,为社会创造出更大的商业价值和效益。作为交通自动化管理的重要组成部分,车辆牌照定位识别需要进行进一步的研究。本论文通过利用MATLAB工具来完成对车牌定位算法的研究,主要是通过车牌图像灰度化,边缘检测以及形态学处理等过程来对车牌图像进行仿真分析。从研究结果不难看出,基于灰度边缘检测的定位方法能取得很好的成果,与其他的定位方法相比更有成效,为之后研究车牌图像识别的研究奠定了良好的基础。
