Most Enterprises have some kind of HR or Personnel function but typically the scope and capabilities of the function are limited. Necessary work therefore includes: Raising awareness of the full scope of HR functionality HR Introducing a core set of systems Developing the enterprise’s capability to run an HR function The methodologies contained in this section concentrate on the first two points above. Developing capability to run an HR function is limited in practice and relies on a transfer of knowledge from the HR consultants to the enterprise’s HR staff.
