Department Manager / Supervisor's . Program
When started the Volume Producing Item (VPI) contest in 1976, he intended it to be an opportunity for his associates to showcase their merchandise talents in promoting items they believed could be top-selling products.

The Department Manager / Supervisor's VPI Program is designed to encourage you to be better merchants. It challenges you to improve your merchandising and sales promotion skills. How well you develop these skills is a key to our pany-wide ess. The program allows you to select an item, order it into your unit, feature it, and report your sales ess at the end of your promotion.
年部门经理/主管VPI计划旨在鼓励各位成为更好的商人。这一计划激励参与者去丰富其商品知识、提高促销技巧。员工对这些技能的掌握程度是公司能够持续发展,并取得成功的关键。VPI计划允许参与者自己选择商品、安排订货到你所在单位、做特卖追踪、并在促销结束后总结销售成绩。
How To Start:
怎样开始
Choose these types of items:
Items that have not reached their sales potential
An overstocked item
A new item
A basic item
Rollback item
A local purchase
An item with only one price point
Items may have multiple colors, flavors or sizes(If they are the same price point
The gross margin of the item is not necessary to be above the departmental average margin
Multiple SKU’s Will Not qualify
These items do not qualify:
Company-directed promotional items
In-unit sale items
Monthly "Top 15 Sellers" items
