provisional acceptance,“中间交接”,原来是指工程项目机械竣工后的物权交接,即:业主带有附加限制条件的“物权接收”,是项目全部彻底“接收”的第一步,在时间上也不一定正是“中间”的时刻,而这时的“接收”也是临时的,非正式的,后边陆续还会有多个其他的“接收”或“验收”,直至最后的“正式接收”。

在欧美有些国家的工程项目管理惯例中,“中间交接”不是安排在机械竣工之后立刻发生,而是安排在RFSU (Ready For Start Up “具备开车条件”),即冷试车(missioning,大致相当于联动试车)结束后,热试车(missioning,大致相当于投料试车)开始前这一里程碑节点上的,但也是在“机械竣工后”,只不过更往后。这就意味着不仅预试车,而且冷试车的责任也要由工程项目承包商承担。
