Dear Mr. Li,
I am writing to ask for a sick leave of three days, starting from today to 25th June, both days inclusive because I have got a very bad cold and a high fever. I have seen the doctor and he advised me to take some medicine and have a good rest for at least three days.
I should be very much obliged if you will grant me the leave. As to the course to be missed during my absence, I will do my best to make it up as soon as I feel better. And I hope you will help me with my study.
