PLC in thermal power plant control system
design
Abstract
The automation is not only an important part in thermal plant, but also a
necessary guarantee for its economics effectiveness, and that coal transfer control
system is also very significant for the automation of thermal plant. For a maximum
economizing on energy, a reasonable method in coal transfer can ensure plete
energy conversion during process of generating electricity.
The traditional coal transfer system of power plant is a half-automation system
based on relay connect and manual work. As the environment of the coal transfer
system is so execrable, it not only does harms to the worker's health, but also has
problems like belt slide, belt avulsion, and jam of the coal-falling pipe and so on for
its large scope. This sharply decreases the productive efficiency of the power plant.
Along with the development in scale, the coal requirement of power plants increases
greatly and the trader ional coal transfer system can't meet the needs of these power
plants any more.
This paper proposed a coal transfer system after careful consideration on the
function and run reliability. It involves one subway, which consist of multiple
segments .This can ensure the system's reliability or configuration. The paper
