(1) 不止一个,很多,后接单数名词时,谓语动词用单数形式。
More than one student wants to watch movies.
(2) 后跟名词时,表示“不只是,不仅仅”
Mr Black is more than a teacher, he is also our friend.
(3) 与数词连用,表示“多于,大于,超过”
There are more than 50 students in our classroom.
(4) 后跟形容词、分词和动词时,表示“非常”,相当于very或much。
I am more than glad to help you with your study.
(5) more …than…与其说…倒不如说…(肯定前者)
He was more sorry than angry at what had happened.

voyage多指旅海,也可以指空中旅行,“航海,航空,航行”等,只作名词。
journey通常指到某一目的地的旅行,距离较远,多指陆地,只作名词。
trip指短途旅行,只作名词。
tour指周游,往往只绕行后回到原出发点,可作动词和名词。
travel泛指旅行,尤指长途旅行,可作动词和名词。其复数形式意思为“旅游笔记,游记”。
