1. One winter morning, there was snow everywhere. It was difficult for animals to find food in such bad weather, but Renard, a very clever fox, didn’t’ look worried. She knew that she would be able to find food for her family if she used her head.
2. Suddenly, Renard found a ing. It was moving very slowly because there was much snow in the road. “Maybe there is something to eat in the truck. Let me try my luck.” Thought Renard.
3. The fox went up to a higher place. From there she could see that there were some basket of fish in the truck. “How can I get onto the truck and take some fish?” thought Renard. After a while she had a good idea. She began to run as fast as she could on a short cut. Soon she got to the road far ahead of the truck.
4. Then she lay down in the middle of the road and pretended to be dead, waiting for the truck. When the truck was ing down the road, the man in the truck found Renard lying there. “look! A dead fox!” he said to himself, “its fur is very nice, isn’t it?”
5. The truck stopped. The man got off, picked up Renard and put her on the baskets full of fish.
6. The truck started to move again. While the man was thinking happily about how to make the fox’s fur into a nic
e coat, Renard began to help herself to the fish.
7. After she had a very good mdal in the truck., Renard took a big fish with her and jumped off the truck. She called to the man, “Thanks for your fish Bye-bye!”
