Geography
It covers 42,519 square kilometres(135th largest country on earth)
It has land borders with Belgium,Germany and France;and is in the Northwestern Europe.
About one quarter of the Netherlands lies below sea level. Dikes were erected to protect the land from flooding.

Windmills have always played a great part in the life of Holland and its inhabitants. At first they served to grind corn, to remove excess water from the low-lying districts, and to saw now they have developed into a most important factor in the social structure of netherlands.
One-third of Netherlands areas are pastures, mainly feeding milk of Friesian cattle.
Their dairy industry is quite developed, there were 60,000 cattle farms, million heads of dairy cattle.
Also there are large tracts of grassland,and I love the grassland ,it give me the feel of freedom…..
Dutchmen have always regarded tulips as a symbol of beauty, luxury, solemn. They also regard them as gold,The amount they have this kind of flower is as a symbol of their wealth.
