随着科学技术的不断提高,计算机科学日渐成熟,其强大的功能已为人们深刻认识,它已进入人类社会的各个领域并发挥着越来越重要的作用。作为计算机应用的一部分,使用计算机对货币信息进行管理,:检索迅速快、查找方便、可靠性高、实时性强、存储量大、保密性好、成本低等。这些优点能够极大地提高货币管理的效率,也是银行等金融产业的科学化、正规化管理,与世界接轨的重要条件。
外汇牌价系统是一个银行机构不可缺少的部分，它的内容对于银行本身、交易客户双方来说都是至关重要的。外汇牌价系统是传统外汇市场的延伸，它可以利用网络的无限广阔空间，随时随地的对外汇牌价变化进行追踪，加上数据库技术的利用，可以将信息即时的以网页的行式展现给客户，大大简化了传统的外汇交易过程。因此外汇牌价系统是外汇交易不可缺少的一个重要环节。
