摘 要
20世纪90年代以来，随着光纤通信技术的迅速发展，许多学者提出了“全光网络”的概念，其本意是信号以光的形式穿过整个网络，直接在光域内进行信号的传输、再生和交换/选路，中间不经过任何光电转换，以达到全光透明性，实现在任意时间、任意地点、传送任意格式信号的理想目标。
  本文阐述全光网络的概念、结构以及全光网络中涉及到的关键技术，并经过波分复用(WDM)技术的发展与演变、过渡到自动光交换网、直到当前智能光交换网络的发展历程与发展趋势。

Abstract
Since the 1990s, with the rapid development of the optical fiber communication technology, many scholars have proposed a "all optical network" concept, which was intended to signal light form through the network directly in light domain signal transmission, regeneration and exchange/choose road, intermediate without going through any photoelectric conversion to achieve all optical transparency, realize in any time, anywhere, transmit arbitrary signals ideal target.
This paper expounds the concept of all-optical network structure and involved in all optical networks of technique, and through WDM technology of development and evolution, transition to an automatic switching, until the current smart light in the course of development of optical networking with development trend.
