大学英语专业翻译教学存在的问题及对策.pdf

摘要随着中国改革开放政策的不断深入,经济的蓬勃发展,各个领域对翻译人才的需求量越来越大,要求越来越高。尽管文学翻译仍然是翻译实践中非常重要的一部分,科学、文化、经济、信息科学等领域的翻译则是翻译工作者的主要任务。他们不仅要把外语翻译成汉语, 而且还要把汉语翻译成外语以促进中国文化、经济和科学的发展。对翻译工作者的急切需求促进了翻译教学的发展。本研究旨在通过对我国大学英语专业本科阶段翻译教学现状的调查,分析并找出其中存在的问题,并提出相应的改革建议。调查对象是山东大学、山东师范大学、济南大学、山东商业职业技术学院和山东广播电视大学5所高校的部分英语翻译教师和英语专业三年级的部分学生。所采用的调查工具是两份调查问卷(一份教师问卷和一份学生问卷)、课堂观察和访谈。作者着重分析了课程设置、翻译教材、师资培养、教学策略和翻译测试5个方面。调查发现,尽管我们的翻译教学与以往相比有了很大的改善,但许多方面仍然存在着不足,阻碍了我国翻译教学的发展。以教学策略为例:一些翻译教师仍旧采用传统的教学模式,忽视了“授人以鱼,不如授人以渔”的教学原则,他们一味地给学生讲解翻译技巧,孤立地向学生灌输翻译理论, 结果使学生收效甚微。作者针对发现的问题,结合当今社会对翻译工作者的要求以及对翻译的不同观点、翻译教学和教学翻译、翻译理论等几个影响翻译和翻译教学的因素提出了改革建议。关键词:翻译教学的现状、问题、课程设置、翻译教材、师资培养、教学策略、翻译测试、 Abstract Anew and dynamic atmosphere fortranslation hasemerged since China adopted its“open door andreform’’ thebooming economy,more andmore qualified translators andinterpreters areneeded by all literary translationremains as avery important artoftranslation practice,translations concerning international trade,foreignaffairs,technology,information science themain notonly translateintobutalsofrom Chinese for thepromotion ofChinese culture,economy,science urgent need forqualified translators and interpreters hasprompted higher educational institutions with foreign languages departments toestablish translation aS adegree course.
