Meanwhile, inter-city rapid railway stations will e on e of the most important districts in the development along t he rail lines. The article analyzes the status quo and the plan, the opportunities and threats of the transportation in the Yangtze delta region, and puts forward the approaches of the planning and design in the inter-cit y rapid railway st ation districts.
