2. Learn to use “What are you going to be when you grow up?
” to ask sb sth
This is the first period of unit 10. The topic is talking about the future intentions and worldly ideal. It links closely with Unit 4 of textbook for Grade Seven ---I want to be an actor, which is talking about jobs. By learning this unit, Ss will get a general idea of the structure “to be going to” and know it means Simple future tense. They can express their ideas using the language structure. It lays foundations for further learning Simple future tense and Section B.

1. Get hold of new words & phrases:
1）programmer/ engineer / pilot /act / professional / move / computer science / grow up. --- What are you going to be when you grow up?
2） --- I am going to be a computer programmer.
