存在信道相关及估计误差时的V-BLAST系统功率分配算法

摘要:针对信道相关及估计误差的V-BLAST系统,以误比特率(Bit Error Rate, BER)为优化目标给出自适应功率分配算法。接收端采用ZF及MMSE检测,通过系统建模和性能分析,推导出子流的瞬时信干噪比并得到V-BLAST系统在信道相关同时兼顾估计误差时的BER表达式。发送端在总功率约束条件下,以最小化BER为优化目标,利用拉格朗日极值法求解自适应功率分配矩阵。仿真结果表明,信道相关及估计误差对V-BLAST系统性能有极大影响。基于此,所提功率分配算法较之传统功率分配算法更能实际的评估系统性能,与等功率分配相比,采用所提算法可显著改善系统的BER性能。

Abstract:In this paper, the transmit power allocation (TPA) scheme is studied for Vertical Bell Labs Layered Space-Time (V-BLAST) system with channel correlation, considering the effect of estimation error. At the receiver, Zero-Forcing (ZF) and Minimum Mean Squared Error (MMSE) decoder are employed respectively. The biterror rate (BER) of each sub-stream is derived. At the transmitter, with the total TPA constraint condition, power allocation matrix can be calculated by using the Lagrange multiplier method with only a few channel state information (CSI) feedbacks. Numerical results demonstrate that the correlation structure and channel estimation error has a profound effect on the performance of V-BLAST system. In viewofthese influencing factors, the proposed TPA scheme is more practical than the traditional one and the performance of V-BLAST system can be well evaluated besides.
