Abstract
Several phenotypic methods have been used for the differentiation of Candida albicans and Candida dubliniensis, but molecular
investigations are considered most reliable in their diagnostic value. Here, we suggest a rapid real-time polymerase chain reaction assay
where the discrimination was achieved through melting point analysis with the help of the nonspecific fluorescent dye SybrGreen.
