A Healthy Life阅读课的教学设计
Content: 人教版高中英语课本选修六第三单元Reading部分
Time period:第二课时

  
教学对象为高中二年级文科重点班学生,这个班学生人数60人,英语有较好基础的学生不到一半,但也有10多个英语成绩较优秀的学生。根据这个班学生的特点,于是在课前,我布置了男女同学课前分别对抽烟这个话题去讨论,探讨,让他们使用自己的学****技能和策略,学会把语言学****与现实生活常识联系起来,一起获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题。而且好的学生带动差的学生一起预****课文,学生一起合作学****的效果就提高了,对课文也会有很好的了解。在实施课堂教学时学生们能主动参与到活动中去,成为课堂的主体。同时,通过女生对抽烟的看法及男生自身对抽烟的反思,加强了男女生的交流。并引导学生树立一生要过健康生活方式的意识。
 
Warming Up presents issues about health for students to discuss.
Pre-reading provides some questions to help students focus on the topic of the reading passage and get the students to realize the harm of smoking .I may provide students some advice on how to give up smoking.
Reading is in two parts. The first is a letter from granddad to his grandson. Granddad lives a long and healthy life, but he has ever been addicted to nicotine, so he lists reasons for being addicted and the harm of smoking. The second part gives advice about how to stop smoking.
Comprehending consists of three kinds of exercises for the students so as to help the students to get a better understanding of the text, that is to say, to help the teacher to check how much the students have understood the text.
