Step1 Warm-up
Listen to a song about the clock.
Free talk.
Step2 Presentation
Look at the picture and ask :
T: What’s this ?
S: It’s a clock.
T: Do you know what’s the time?
S: It’s seven o’clock.
Give examples of o’clock then ask the students to practice “What’s the time ? It’s…”one by one.
2、Look at other two clocks ask” What’s the time ? It’s seven fifteen/ fifteen past seven “and then let students practice “past”one by one
3、Give examples of “half past..”. Ask the students practice one by one .
4、“to” give more examples about “to” and then practice “What time is it?”, Wh
