Flow cytometry analysis was employed to detect the proportion of DCs subtypes in the peripheral blood. ResultsNo obvious difference was founded in DCs between ischemic stroke patients and the controls (P=). The numbers and percentages of peripheral blood myeloid dendritic cells (mDCs) and plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs) were significantly different in two groups (P<). ConclusionPatients with ischemic stroke has decreased levels of circulation mDCs and pDCs. These results vertified the function of inflammation in ischemic stroke.
