本课时为第六单元Going to school的第一课时Travelling time to “How long does it take? / It takes sb. some time to do sth. .”(该句型为初中阶段重要的语言知识点之一)。文本内容比较简短，因此如何帮助学生学****正确使用该句型，并联系学生们的实际生活将之运用就是本课时的重点，同时也是难点。每一位同学都接触过不同的交通工具，去过不同的地方，因此将之作为突破口设计了本课时。
