FIFA World Cup
History
On May 21, 1904, the first President of FIFA, the French Robert GaiLan, for the first time put forward this idea to countries football learders . But he was failed.
After the First World War, the founder of the Paris red star team , Mr Rimet, was elected as chairman of FIFA, he picked up the  plan again.
On December 10, 1926, FIFA held a working meeting in Paris.
On June 5, 1927, with 23 votes for, five against (Nordic countries oppose), 1 abstentions  (Germany) passed the Paris conference bill .
In 1956, FIFA‘s meeting in Luxembourg(卢森堡), changed the name of the tournament to  “ the Rimet trophy ”.
Eventually changed its name to “world er champions league - the Rimet trophy(世界足球冠军联赛——雷米特杯)", referred to as the "World Cup". And hold once every four years.
