Methods HepG2 cells were stimulated with different concentrations of ethanol, and collected at 24 h, 48 h and 72 h, respectively. The VASN mRNA level of HepG2 cells was detected by quantitative nucleic acid amplification detec- tion system (qPCR). The secretory level of samples after ultrafiltration concentration was detected, and the effect of ethanol on the VASN protein ex- pression and secretion level of HepG2 cells were analyzed. Results Compared with no ethanol stimulation, the VASN mRNA level of HepG2 cells stimulated by 25 mmol/L ethanol, 50 mmol/L ethanol and 100 mmol/L ethanol was significantly higher at 24 h, 48 h and 72 h; compared with no eth- anol stimulation, the VASN protein secretion level of HepG2 cells stimulated by 25 mmol/L ethanol, 50 mmol/L ethanol and 100 mmol/L ethanol was significantly higher at 24 h, 48 h and 72 h. Conclusion Ethanol can promote the expression and secretion of VASN in HepG2 cells, and provide an effective reference for biological cell research.
