近年来在一些应用领域中,希望能够用有限的空间和带宽资源存储与传递大幅图
像,并且,根据实际需要,获得不同分辨率或质量的重够图像。图像的感兴趣区域(ROI)
压缩编码技术便应用而生。图像的 ROI 编码技术,即在图像中 ROI 进行无损或近无损
压缩,而在其它的区域采用有损压缩,从而既可以获得所期望的高质量的图像信息,
又保持了较高的压缩比,很好地解决了压缩比和图像质量之间的矛盾。
本文首先介绍了目前图像压缩技术的研究背景和主要发展,然后系统介绍
JPEG2000 感兴趣区域编码技术的基本原理和核心算法,阐述 ROI 模板的概念及计算,
并实现对含有感兴趣区域图像的重建,接着对其中使用的最大移位法和基于比例移位
法进行说明和比较。最后利用网络的互动性,提出一种由用户端控制 ROI 图像传输方
案,并且把该技术应用到变电站图像监控系统中去;在传输带宽有限的变电站图像监
控系统中引入该编码技术是一种新的尝试,在该监控系统中,就可以根据用户的传输
带宽和利用方式,以不同的分辨率及压缩率发送图片,从而有效地缓解网络带宽的瓶
颈问题,较好地提高了图像的实时性传输,以及能有效的节省存储空间,仿真实验结
果也表明它可以得到令人满意的效果。

Abstract

In recent years , Some application in digital image ,people want to use limited space
and bandwidth resources to transmit mass image and according to real needs to gain the
reconfiguration image of different resolution or qualities .The pression
technology based on region of interest utilizes pression to different area in an
image ,it can solve the contradiction between the image quality and pression rate.
First, the research background and development of image processing are introduced
in this paper;Then Introduces the theeory and core algorithm of the coding technology of
ROI in JPEG2000 standards ,then illuminates conception putation of ROI
mask,and sucessfully reconstructs an image with ROI,then discusses pares
MAXSHIFT method and Scaling based method. Finally ,by make use work
exchange ,an image transmission scheme by receiver-driven ROI is proposed, and this
coding technology is used in image surveillance system of ROI image
coding scheme which apply of limited bandwith In this surveillance system is a new
can transmit the reconfiguration image of different resolution or
compressibility depend on its bandwidth ,so it can resolve work bandwidth
and improve preferably image real-time transmission and economy memory. Emulational
experimental results are satisfying.
